A New Beginning

This is a chronicle of life after adoption.
All three of us are adjusting to our new
roles.
Trying them on and seeing how they fit.
Sometimes the new roles are
uncomfortable and take a while to get used to, sometimes they are a perfect fit and feel comfortable right away.
There have been changes, but all worthwhile and rewarding.
Levi is a trooper and he has fit into our lives so easily.

It is fun to see life through his eyes and delight
in all that we take for granted.

This blog will serve many purposes: A journal for
us to record the events, thoughts and feelings in our lives, a way to keep in touch with our family and hopefully a keepsake for Levi in the future.

So the journey begins:

One of our primary goals is for Levi to have lots of opportunities to spend
time with family. It was great this week, as Brian, Bobbi, Vance, Connor and Brody came over and spent some time with us. We had formal portraits taken at the studio. It was quite the experience, we were there over 4 hours. All the boys were troopers. Levi and Brody timed it perfectly and fell asleep in their strollers so that Bobbi and I could concentrate on picking out the pictures. They turned out so cute! We had a special one taken with all the grandboys together for the grandparents.

Levi had fun opening his presents from Auntie Bobbi and U
ncle Brian. We've tried to explain to him that presents everyday is not the norm :)

It was very fun to see Levi and Brody playing together.

The older boys were very good sports and spent a lot of time playing with Levi.
He thinks his older cousins are very cool!
